The kick-off meeting of the VIPSKILLS project - Virtual Intensive Course and Developing Practical Skills of Future Engineers – took place between 4 and 6 of October 2016 in Vilnius.

The hosts of the meeting were Dean Lina Sakalauskiene and VTDK Erasmus coordinator Nijole Popoviene of Vilnius College of Technologies and Design (photo 1). Bialystok University of Technology was represented by the VIPSKILLS project coordinator Dorota Krawczyk, while University of Cordoba was represented by UCO coordinator Antonio Rodero Serrano (photo 2).

The meetings were also attended by all the teachers involved in the project on behalf of the Lithuanian university (photo 3). The aim of the meetings was to discuss organizational and substantive issues. We made the distribution of tasks between teams consisting of teachers representing all partner HEIs, who will work on the results of intellectual outputs. Moreover we established representatives for staff trainings in 2017.

The next meeting will take place in April 2017 in Bialystok. Until then, we will develop the first version of teaching materials and English-Polish-Spanish-Lithuanian technical dictionary.
